Safety

Waterfall on the Fjarðará about 4 km above Seyðisfjörður on Route 93. That mountain road over Fjarðarheiði is the only way in and closes in storms — check road.is before driving it after dark. The path down to the falls is wet, uneven and unlit.

Parking

Gravel pull-off beside Route 93 with room for a handful of cars. The falls are a two-minute walk below the road, and the pull-off itself already looks straight down the valley.
