Seal-watching farm on the west shore of Vatnsnes, about 25 km up gravel Route 711 from Hvammstangi. The coast road is narrow, rough and unlit — take it slowly and check road.is in winter. The marked path out to the shore hide crosses open ground and is not lit.

Parking

Signed gravel car park at the farm, where the seal path begins. The outlook is north-west across Húnaflói to the Strandir mountains, with no settlement in the way.
