Getting There

A · Drive-up — park and you are there

Safety

Small stone-built hot pool at Laugar in Sælingsdalur, just off Route 60. Free, unsupervised and open around the clock — the water sits around 38–40 °C, the flagstones ice over, and there is no attendant. It holds about six people.

Parking

Gravel lay-by beside Route 60 a few metres from the pool, with a turf-roofed changing hut alongside. The dale walls block the southern sky, so look north up the valley.
