Canyon and the Kolufossar falls where Route 715 bridges the Víðidalsá, on maintained gravel off Route 1. The rim is unfenced and drops 40–50 m — stay well back from the edge in the dark.

Parking

Free parking at both ends of the bridge, room for about 15 cars. No hiking needed; the viewpoints are at the bridge itself.
